I have four children, all of whom are grown up, with one studying at the University of St Andrews, two working as academics in Germany and the USA, and one working as a lawyer in Canary Wharf. Their various experiences with learning difficulties led me to the career I have had for the last few years: working as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in schools across London.
Having gained my MA in education in 2016, and my SENCo qualification in 2013, I am currently working towards an MA in Specialist Dyslexia Teaching and Assessment having just passed the specialist teaching section.
