The London Marathon - Great Ormond Street Hospital
Mr Lawlor is running the London Marathon this weekend to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital after his daughter Ada received life-changing care there following an epilepsy diagnosis and brain surgery.
Ada began having seizures at just six weeks old. After being referred to Great Ormond Street Hospital, she was diagnosed with epilepsy and later underwent brain surgery at 18 months.
Throughout every stage of Ada’s treatment, GOSH provided exceptional care, guidance, and reassurance for his whole family.
Any donations would be hugely appreciated as Mr Lawlor aims to raise as much money as possible for this incredible hospital.

Year 5 & 6 Hockey
Year 3 National Theatre
As part of our work studying theatre and playscripts, the children in Year 3 visited The National Theatre. After a train journey and a short walk along The South Bank, we had a tour of the building.

Here, we visited two different types of theatre, discovered how props are made and had the opportunity to rehearse with props. We were very interested to find out that most props are made from recycled materials and a current feature performance is called ‘War Horse’. Our visit will help us to compare modern day theatre with ones in Ancient Greece.
