Free Breakfast for Active Travelers!

On Friday, June 19th, we will host our annual Walk to School Week Breakfast.

To earn a free, healthy breakfast before school, pupils just need to travel actively for most of next week! The free breakfast includes a healthy cereal bar, a piece of fruit and a drink.

What counts as active travel?

  • 🚶 Walking
  • 🛴 Scooting
  • 🚲 Cycling
  • 🚌 Taking the bus
  • 🚗 Car sharing

Congratulations to Year 2 Walsingham and Year 5 Czestochowa, who are the current Eco Warrior and Walk to School winners!

Transition Week

During the week commencing 6th July, children will move up to their new classes and have the opportunity to meet their new teachers. We will share further details about this process, including class splits and teacher allocations for next year, in a future update to ensure the children and you are fully informed and prepared for the transition.

We have a number of staff members leaving us at the end of this academic year. Mrs Myers is retiring after 17 years at our school. Miss Cabble is leaving to pursue opportunities outside of education, Miss Sola is moving to a school closer to home, and both Miss Mansouri and Mr Healy are taking up teaching posts elsewhere. We thank them all for their contributions, dedication and commitment to our children and school community, and we wish them every success and happiness in the future.

At various points throughout the new academic year, Mrs Richards, Mrs Lawlor and Mrs Statham-Burt will be on maternity leave. They join Mrs Jackson, who is currently on adoption leave. We wish them all the very best during this exciting time!

As always, staffing changes also bring new opportunities, and we are delighted to be welcoming a number of new colleagues to our teaching team for September. Miss Baida, Miss O'Connor, Miss Walsh, Mr Kayani, Miss Rendall, Miss Cullen and Miss O'Donnell are joining us in teaching roles.  We look forward to introducing them to parents and children in the coming weeks.

We will continue to keep you updated on all staffing arrangements moving forward.
