Arrangements for the continued Heat Wave 26th June

Good morning

Temperatures are expected to remain very high tomorrow. Parents of children in EYFS, where we do not have air conditioning, have already received separate communication with specific arrangements.

Children in Years 1–6 should attend school as normal, wearing their PE kits as they would on any Friday. They will take part in PE-related activities indoors, and we will also operate our usual 'Wet Play' arrangements throughout the day. This means children will remain inside and will not be outside in the hottest conditions.

We will continue to monitor the weather closely and ensure children stay cool, hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.
