Amber Heat Warning for week of 22nd June

An Amber Heat Warning has been issued for next week with temps expected to peak on Wednesday but remaining about 30C for the whole week.

We are fortunate to have air con in most of the school so we are able to keep cool for most of the school day.   If necessary will we shorten the time children are outside at playtimes.

Please make sure your child has a sun cap or hat, is in summer uniform or PE kit and has sunscreen applied everyday.  Water bottles should be full for the start of the day and will be topped up during the days.  Remember these must be the school type.  Other types are not allowed and cups will be provided for those without school water bottles. 

If you'd like to send sunscreen in with your child please do.
